TRIANGLE EARRINGS
Category: EARRING
This miniature triangle ('tit-fer) was hand-formed in wax and cast into solid metal.
'Tit-fer is the triangle instrument you'll often find used in Cajun music. Its name comes from the French words "petit," meaning little, and "fer," meaning iron.
The triangle measures approximately 1-1/2" wide by 1-3/8" long and weighs 3.3 grams in bronze (about the same as 3 paperclips). The wand measures approximately 1/8" wide by 1-1/4" long and weighs 1.3 grams in bronze (about the same as 1 paperclip).
Each hangs from gold-filled or sterling silver ear wires. All our ear wires are nickel-free.
*The price listed above includes standard ear wires only (shown in the product photos). If you choose to add lever-back ear wires, the updated total will be reflected in your cart.
